About Us
LC New Revised Version - Approved by JD, AD and LC - 23/12/25
All About Support is a UK charity that publishes a free online magazine focused on mental health, wellbeing and development across education and youth services that champions support for children, teens, young adults, and those who work with or care for them in the UK. The World Health Organisation (WHO) defines mental health as “a state of mental well-being that enables people to cope with the stresses of life, realize their abilities, learn and work well, and contribute to their community”. All About Support is largely concerned with these specific dimensions of mental health over issues related to mental illness.
Our publication features voices from schools, colleges, universities, youth services, clinical settings, private companies, and other professionals whose work impacts young people’s mental health and wellbeing. Through short reads, long-form feature articles, and interviews, we share real-world experiences, thoughtful reflections, and innovative practices, services, and products.
Each contribution offers insight into the approaches, challenges, and learning that shape professional support for young people. From school-based initiatives to therapeutic interventions, we aim to highlight work that informs, inspires, and connects.
Contributors are not necessarily professional or experienced writers, they are invited to write for us due to their professional insights and lived experience. While the magazine is not open for public submission, we curate a diverse range of perspectives from across sectors—education, health, social care, and beyond—to foster meaningful dialogue and reflection and welcome enquiries from prospective writers.
Whether you're a practitioner, policymaker, researcher, or someone invested in the mental health and wellbeing of young people, All About Support is here to inform, encourage, and build a shared sense of purpose.
